The evolution of minimalism may be traced back to the 1920s and 1930s. During this period, a German design school introduced the Bauhaus style, which emphasized simplicity and cleanliness. From there, the design evolved throughout the decades to incorporate functional furniture, clean-lined items, and geometric shapes. Which were frequently combined in bare and spacious settings with no more than two primary colors.
For a time, that became the most recognizable approach to minimalist home design. However, this is no longer the case! Today’s minimalist designs are far from austere. Having fun and celebrating with surprising features not commonly connected with minimalist design to make it your own life style.
